Remembering. Reflecting. Celebrating

Personal ceremonies, shaped with the utmost care around the person at their heart.

Whether you are arranging a funeral, planning a memorial, gathering after a direct cremation or thinking about your own wishes, I can help you create a ceremony that feels genuine, personal and true to the person being remembered.

The person behind the facts

When someone dies, we remember far more than dates and milestones. We remember their character, the things they loved, the sayings, the sense of humour and the little details that made them uniquely themselves.

I believe the most meaningful ceremonies come from taking the time to understand the whole person. By listening carefully to family and friends, I create ceremonies that feel warm, honest and instantly recognisable to everyone who knew and loved them.

Ceremonies for every kind of farewell

Every ceremony is created individually. There is no template – only what feels right for the person and the people gathering to remember them.

Funeral ceremonies

Shaped around the individual – their values, beliefs, relationships and life – with music, readings, tributes and contributions from those who loved them.

After a direct cremation

Choosing a direct cremation doesn’t mean going without a goodbye. Gather separately, in your own time, to remember and honour them.

Memorials & celebrations of life

A chance to gather and remember – weeks, months or years later, or to mark an anniversary. There is no right time.

Living tributes & future wishes

Some conversations are easier while we have the chance. Capture the memories, music and messages that matter, for the people you love.

Ashes interment & scattering

A simple ceremony to pause, reflect and share memories in a place that matters, privately or with family and friends.

Faith, belief, or both

A civil ceremony can include hymns, prayers and readings alongside secular poetry, music and personal stories – whatever reflects what mattered to them.

Listening has always been at the heart of what I do

For over 25 years my working life has been about understanding people – asking thoughtful questions, listening carefully and helping people put into words what really matters to them. Celebrancy brings those same skills to a very different setting.

I work alongside families to create ceremonies that honour a life honestly and warmly, offering calm, compassionate guidance at what can be an overwhelming time.

You don’t need to know exactly what you want

Many families worry about what a ceremony should include. That’s completely normal – I’ll guide you through each stage, at a pace that feels comfortable.

1. A first conversation

Simply a chance to talk. We’ll share memories of your loved one and explore the kind of ceremony you’d like.

2. Shaping the ceremony

I’ll write the ceremony around their story, with the music, readings, hymns and personal touches you choose – and share it with you to shape together.

3. On the day

I’ll lead the ceremony with calm and care, so you can be present with the people around you. Afterwards, you’ll receive a keepsake copy of the ceremony to treasure.
